Getting started

First boot with the F75T FPGA board

Power, JTAG, and loading your first bitstream on the F75T dev board.

6 min read

Power and JTAG

Feed the board from the barrel jack or a compliant PCIe slot — not both. Connect the onboard JTAG header to your probe; the chain should enumerate the FPGA and the configuration flash.

Load the demo bitstream

We ship a reference bitstream that walks the LEDs and echoes on UART at 115200. Program it volatile first — if LEDs sweep, the board is healthy before you write anything to flash.

Next steps

Pin constraints for every connector are in the product documentation. If you're porting an existing design, start by mapping clocks and reset — the rest of the IO follows.
